چکیده
In the near future, it is envisioned that cellular networks will have to cope with extensive internet of things (IoT) devices. Therefore, a required feature IoT be capability serve simultaneously large number devices heterogeneous demands and qualities channel state information at transmitter (CSIT). this paper, we focus on an overloaded multiple-input single-output (MISO) broadcast (BC) two groups CSIT qualities, namely, one group users (representative high-end devices) for which has partial knowledge CSI, other only statistical CSI (i.e., distribution user channels). We introduce rate-splitting multiple access (RSMA), new based multi-antenna (RS) technique IoT. Two strategies are proposed, time partitioning-RSMA (TP-RSMA) power (PP-RSMA). The former independently serves over orthogonal slots while latter jointly within same slot in non-orthogonal manner. first show high signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) PP-RSMA achieves optimal degrees-of-freedom (DoF) MISO BC qualities. then finite SNR explicit sum rate gain TP-RSMA all baseline schemes by marrying benefits PP RSMA. Furthermore, robust inaccuracy flexible quality service (QoS) constraints users. DoF analysis helps us drawing conclusion powerful framework

Rate-splitting multiple access for discrete memoryless channels
It is shown that the encoding/decoding problem for any asynchronous -user discrete memoryless multiple-access channel can be reduced to corresponding problems for at most 2 1 single-user discrete memoryless channels. This result, which extends a similar result for Gaussian channels, reduces the seemingly hard task of finding good multiple-access codes to the much better understood task of findi...
متن کاملA rate-splitting approach to the Gaussian multiple-access channel
It is shown that any point in the capacity region of a Gaussian multiple-access channel is achievable by single-user coding without requiring synchronization among users, provided that each user “splits” data and signal into two parts. Based on this result, a new multiple-access technique called rate-splitting multiple accessing (RSMA) is proposed. RSMA is a code-division multiple-access scheme...
متن کاملOptimal Multiple-access Communication via Distributed Rate Splitting
We consider the basic multiple-access communication problem in a distributed setting for both the additive white Gaussian noise channel and the discrete memoryless channel. We propose a scheme called Distributed Rate Splitting to achieve the optimal rates allowed by information theory in a distributed manner. In this scheme, each real user creates a number of virtual users via a power/rate spli...
متن کاملTime-Splitting Multiple-Access
It is shown that the encoding/decoding problem for any asynchronous M -user memoryless multiple-access channel can be reduced to corresponding problems for at most 2M 1 single-user memoryless channels. This is done via a method called time-splitting multiple-access which is closely related to a recently developed method called rate-splitting multiple access. It is also related to to multilevel ...
متن کاملA Mutual Authentication Method for Internet of Things
Today, we are witnessing the expansion of various Internet of Things (IoT) applications and services such as surveillance and health. These services are delivered to users via smart devices anywhere and anytime. Forecasts show that the IoT, which is controlled online in the user environment, will reach 25 billion devices worldwide by 2020. Data security is one of the main concerns in the IoT. ...
